The Founders and the Foundation

Coperni was established in 2013 by Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, whose partnership remains central to the house’s identity. Meyer, Creative Director and Co-Founder, grew up in the South of France and attended military school — an early influence that shaped his appreciation for uniform, discipline and structure. Vaillant, CEO and Co-Founder, was raised in Sanary-sur-Mer in a family of doctors and developed a parallel interest in mathematics and fashion.

The two met at fashion school in Paris, where Meyer studied Fashion Design and Pattern Making while Vaillant specialised in Fashion Business and Management. Their complementary skill sets — creative and analytical — underpin Coperni’s balance of imagination and pragmatism.

Recognition followed early. Coperni won ANDAM’s Creative Label Prize in 2014 and was a finalist for the LVMH Prize in 2015. After stepping away in 2017 to explore new ventures, the brand was relaunched in 2018 with renewed focus on innovation and the intersection of fashion, society and technology.

Precision, Innovation and Modernism

Named after astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, the label reflects a spirit of intellectual rebellion and research. An explorative yet rigorous design approach defines the house, with textile experimentation and origami-like construction techniques shaping its aesthetic.

Garments are engineered with intention. Clean lines, streamlined embroidery knowledge and a subtle ‘sportif’ sensibility give Coperni its modernist clarity. Structure is present, yet never restrictive — precision translated into wearable form.

Inside the Coperni Spring/Summer 2026 Collection

Presented on the runway, the Spring/Summer 2026 Collection continues this dialogue between innovation and restraint. Sculptural tailoring, sharply defined silhouettes and technical fabrics form the backbone of the season.

There is a controlled elegance throughout. Structured blazers, minimalist dresses and carefully proportioned accessories demonstrate the house’s continued research into form and movement. Rather than excess, the Coperni Spring/Summer 2026 Collection focuses on line, proportion and subtle sensuality.

The result feels considered and forward-looking — garments that reflect contemporary life without losing technical depth.

A Contemporary Feminine Silhouette

In recent seasons, Coperni has refined a feminine and subtly confident silhouette. Within the Coperni Spring/Summer 2026 Collection, this manifests through balanced proportions and softened tailoring, answering a desire for clothing that feels intelligent yet light.

Innovation here is not theatrical; it is measured and intentional.

As Coperni joins the Maison de Fashion roster, it introduces a distinct Parisian perspective shaped by research, precision and modern clarity. The Coperni Spring/Summer 2026 Collection offers insight into the house’s evolving language — one defined by technical mastery and understated confidence.
